Unless noted, classes are free to YMCA Members (M); $6 per class for Program Members (PM).

LOW (L) - MODERATE (M) - HIGH (H)

PILATES MAT LEVEL 1 & 2 - In this class the focus is on learning the basic principles, breathing, abdominal muscle isolation and control and basic muscle group awareness. Pilates and essential mat exercises will be introduced in a sequential fashion. As the class progresses there will be the introduction of some intermediate exercises, if appropriate for the class participant.

STEP STAMINA (M/H) - This medium to high intensity class will get your heart pumping and shape your bottom and legs.  Recommended for those already exercising.

WATER AEROBICS (L/M/H) -Use the natural resistance of the water to increase muscle tone and improve your fitness level without the stress and impact on the joints. This class may use equipment such as water noodles, water dumbbells, and kickboards..

DRUMS ALIVE® FOR ALL AGES (L/M) - You must register and pay for this class each month.  Please register at the Member Service Desk before the first class. Drum your way to fun and fitness! In this class you will use real drumsticks on the big exercise balls to the beat of the music. Then instructor will lead you through a drumming workout designed to increase your heart rate. Ages 10 & up.

INTERVAL TRAINING (L/M) - This is a class that will use light to heavy weights and tools such as bands, stability balls, and medicine balls to tone and strengthen the major muscle groups of the body intermingled with cardio segments to get your heart rate up.

MORNING CARDIO (L/M/H) - In this class the instructor will use a variety of fitness formats such as step, circuits, and interval training to improve cardiovascular conditioning as well as a variety of equipment for muscle conditioning. The instructors will show beginning levels and advanced levels to exercises.

A.M. CORE & HARDCORE (L/M/H) - Both of these classes are designed to condition the core (abdominal muscles, and back).  Instructors may use equipment such as medicine balls, bands, and stability balls for increased resistance.

FOREVER FIT (L/M)- This  is a low impact, basic level aerobic class for all ages that uses floor work only to improve cardiovascular fitness. This class does use light dumbbells for muscle conditioning. It is designed to accommodate beginning level fitness and older adults.

YOGA STRETCH (L) - A gentle stretch class that implements Yoga postures with assisted isolation stretching for improved flexibility and enhanced mind and body relaxation. Please bring a towel for assisted stretching.

YOGA (L/M) - This class uses tradition Yoga postures to enhance strength and flexibility.

GENTLE JOINTS (L) - Gentle water exercises for easing arthritic and fibromyalgia discomforts, while improving joint mobility, increasing muscle tone and enhancing circulation.

YOGA FUSION (L) - This class is a great end of the week, noon time relaxer that combines the disciplines of yoga and Pilates for increased strength and flexibility.

PRIME TIME (L/M) - A water exercise program for mature adults, that works to improve muscle tone and elevate the heart rate to a level that will improve your cardiovascular system.

30/30/30 (L/M/H)

This class has it all. 30 minutes of cardiovascular training using a variety of techniques, such as step and salsa. 30 minutes of strength training using a variety of equipment, such as bands, balls, and dumbbells. Then 30 minutes of yoga. You can stay for the whole 90 minutes or just come to the parts you want. (8:45-9:45 cardio, 9:15-9:45 strength, 9:45-10:15 yoga)

SWEAT & PRAISE - In this class the instructor will start class with a devotional reading and provide spiritual inspiration during class while using a variety of equipment to improve cardiovascular and muscular conditioning.

POWERHOUSE - This class is a Pilates-like class that uses exercises and equipment to strengthen and tone the core for better body balance and spinal alignment, but doesn't focus as heavily on the breathing and technique of true Pilates.

CARDIO KICKBOXING (M/H) - This medium to high intensity class will get your heart pumping using kickboxing moves and drills to music.  Recommended for those already exercising.

TAI CHI (L/M) - Tai Chi is a rhythmic art form that utilizes the whole body, creating excellent circulation and respiratory response.

ZUMBA FITNESSŪ - A Latin-inspired, dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements including Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and more! The class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits.
